Recipe of the Week: Protein Popsicles

by | Jul 25, 2017 | Nutrition, Recipe

An Easy and Delicous Post-Workout Treat!

There is nothing like an ice-cold popsicle on a hot summer day! The only problem is most traditional frozen popsicles contain large amounts of added sugar, artificial flavours and very few nutritional benefits.

Making your own popsicles is an easy and healthy option with all-natural ingredients. Add in some protein, and now you’ve got a great post-workout treat! The protein in the popsicles will help with muscle recovery after a hot, sweaty summer workout!

Protein popsicles are a perfect upgrade from a boring protein bar and they whip up as easily as a smoothie.

The formula is simple: blend, freeze, enjoy. If you don’t have popsicle molds, just use paper cups with wooden popsicle sticks.
